Class Tuition:  *$40 per month per student.  *$50 per month for a male/female couple.  Single class price is $15.00

(*Price is based upon AUTOPAY arrangements.  All non AUTOPAY enrollments are $15.00 per class)

 

Class Descriptions:  

Tiny Tot Combo  (3-5 year olds):  This class is an introduction to elements of dance using Ballet, Tap, Jazz and creative movement.   The instructor will use a variety of props, pretend role playing, story telling, and choreographed dances to achieve this objective.  Children will be taught respect and manners, and class room rules that will prepare them for the next level of dance.  Examples of these rules are: how to treat the teacher, how to treat fellow classmates, how to wait for the child's turn and how to take care of and respect class props and equipment.  

Supplies and preparation for class:  The child will need ballet slippers, tap shoes, a leotard (any color) and tights (any color).  Students should have their hair tied up when possible.

 

Tiny Tot combo   (5-8 year olds):  Children in this class are taught the same elements that the 3- 5 year olds learn.  With a general understanding of the class procedures, 5-8 year olds can add simple warm ups, stretches, and more difficult choreography to the regular class routines.

Supplies and preparation for class:  The child will need ballet slippers, tap shoes, a leotard (any color) and tights (any color).  Students should have their hair tied up when possible.

 

Pre Tumbling   (3-8 year olds):  Children in this class are given an introduction to pad drills, stretches, strength exercises, and approximately 18 different tumbling moves, with variations.  In addition, children will also learn class room manners and rules.   These include safety, how to listen to the teacher, how to wait for their turn, and how to treat fellow classmates.  A variety of levels can be taught in this class at the same time.  So each child get material specific to their ability.

Supplies and preparation for class:  Boys:  Sweats and a t-shirt     Girls:  Leotard and sweats  It is important for the child to have comfortable clothing.

 

Junior Ballroom  (7 - 17 year olds):    This class is an introduction to the ballroom, latin and swing dances.  A large part of Social dancing is manners.  In this class, students will learn the proper manners and etiquette for ballroom and social dancing.  Dances that may be introduced are Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, West Coast Swing, Nightclub 2 Step, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba and Hustle.  Students are encouraged to attend the Friday and Saturday night practice dances (must have parent with them.)
